The Phoenix System® - Family of EDR products  

In today’s complex world, the importance of protecting data has become a high business priority. As a result, most companies are aware of the need to backup digital information to minimize data loss and aid data recovery.

The underlying assumption in the industry is that no matter what the data protection scheme and topology are, the same limitation exists: all data that needs to be protected has to be transported out of the primary data center prior to a disaster. Whatever data that remained at the primary data center or did not make it to the secondary data center was lost.

Organizations have the option to transmit their data from their main data center (‘primary’ site) to remote data centers (‘secondary’ sites) using either asynchronous or synchronous replication solutions.

Each solution has its own strengths and limitations:

 The Phoenix System® platform is compatible with all major storage vendors’ replication solutions and provides the basis for Axxana’s current and future family of products.
